Audit Committee#

The Audit Committee is responsible for managing GNOME Foundation audits.

Committee Responsibilities#

The GNOME Foundation Board of Directors has assigned the following responsibilities to the committee:

  • Recommending the appointment, compensation, and retention of an independent certified public accounting (CPA) firm.

  • Reviewing the CPA firm’s audit plan, scope, and results.

  • Meeting with the auditors to discuss financial statements, findings, and internal control recommendations.

  • Overseeing the internal control system and financial reporting processes.

  • Reporting audit findings and recommendations to the full Board of Directors.

Current Members#

The members of the audit committee are the same as the finance committee.
